I'm Back...Sort of

Well, all my decorations are safely put away for the year. I managed to maintain my weight and not gain anything in spite of eating bzillions of calories nearly every day and drinking waaaaay to much coffee. Now I have to lose the five plus pounds I gained between Thanksgiving and Christmas and the ten pounds before that....see so I really am doing quite well in the weight department....heh, heh.

I'm getting slow start on this year. I'm still working on my resolution list but I have managed to get a weeks worth of lesson plans done for the kiddos so we will be starting school bright, if not early, tomorrow morning.

One of my resolutions this year is to practice more structure and good stewardship of my time. This last Fall I found myself spending A LOT of time on the computer to the detriment of other duties and activities. By Christmas time I was feeling very convicted about this and during my break from blogging decided that instead of trying to write a post everyday, I would pick two or three days out of the week to write a post. Hopefully this will also improve the quality of my posts. I will also continue to do my Sunday Psalm posts and I am praying about whether to include a devotional thought with them or not.

So there you have it.

My plan so far for 2008.

Inspiring, isn't it?

I'll be posting some more of my resolutions in the weeks to come. They are really things that I feel the Lord is calling to my attention and asking me to address in my life. And if I learned anything in 2007 it was to obey the Lord and to do it promptly. It is, after all, my desire to glorify Him in all that I do, including in blogging.

Structure...self-discipline...it's the stuff resolutions are made of!! That, and my weight, are constant battles. I'm not organized enough to even know which days I'll have time to blog!!! There's always next year!!!

Hey, great job getting the Christmas deco put away. My tree is still up with every ornament on it! Maybe I should be addressing that now...hmmmmm. Nah!
