Happy Mother's Day!

A Christian mother's love contains

A gospel all its own,

Because the King of love has found

Her heart an ample throne.

~Crawford

Whom can find a virtuous wife?

For her worth is far above rubies.

The heart of her husband safely trusts her;

So she will have no lack of gain.

She does him good and not evil

All the days of her life.

~Proverbs 31:10-12

My Grandmother and Mother, virtuous wives and mothers.

Her children rise up and call her blessed;

Her husband also, and he praises her:

"Many daughters have done well,

But you excel them all."

~Proverbs 31:28-29

My brother and sister and I in younger days, when Mom was doing her hardest work for us.

Thank you Mom, we rise up and call you blessed.

(By the way that's my son whom my sister is holding.)

I love your picture header!
And I really enjoyed your post for Mother's Day. I intended to do one and didn't but YOU DID and I'm glad :)

The comments that your mother wrote were surely a blessing. Mothers are so special and so are daughters!

I trust that you had a very special Mother's Day!

Nice post, sis!

I wondered where those pictures went. At some point we'll have to do a little digital download. Especially, if you've scanned them all..

Happy Mom's Day to ya!

I love that photo of your granma. It looks like she is joyfully opening her hands to may one of her grandchildren. Precious.

I'm with Sweetpea. (Never thought I'd utter those words, for some reason). Also, is that you with the side braid?
